Critchley Hall supports 'Leyburn in Bloom'
You may have noticed the hanging baskets and tubs brimming with a colourful variety of flowers down Golden Lion Yard as you enter the main car park behind the Golden Lion Hotel.
The Yorkshire Building Society has kindly provided a cheque for £250.00 towards our local community to fund our support of this year’s Leyburn in Bloom competition. This donation has also been supplemented by us here at Critchley Hall and by Sam Turner & Son’s. However, the time and effort gone into the displays are a combined effort of the Golden Lion Yard businesses.
The Leyburn in Bloom competition is the initiative of Leyburn and Mid-Wensleydale Business Association and the town council. The aim is to brighten up the town during the summer to make the place more appealing to visitors. The sight of everyone’s combined efforts throughout the town will hopefully brighten up everyone's day as the flowers continue to bloom throughout the summer.
